When Ergonomic Tool Arms, LLC was started, our goal was to produce a simple, smooth operating, well made tapping arm. To make the best arm possible it was absolutely necessary to machine all the components and assemble everything right here where we had full control and could delivery quickly.
Rather than make a huge number of models to handle larger and more difficult threading operations we strive to do just a few things very well. Thus currently we offer only tapping for threads in the Size 1 Adapter range. See Tap Adapters. If your requirements involve threads beyond the range of our TA-Series Tap Systems we would be happy to refer you to our very capable competitors.
Right from the beginning we had the confidence to offer a 3 year warranty against excessive wear, regardless of the number of cycles. After 5 years on the market we are happy to note nothing but a few minor claims against that warranty. With some periodic maintenance on the tapper motor itself, you can expect the ETA Tap Arm System to provide many, many years of perfectly tapped holes. See System Details.
